Glad you like Shipway's Mahler - I like it a lot too, although it's not my favorite. Certainly, the price on these Membran SACD's is right (if you order from Berkshire).Regarding your observation:
They're NOT labeled DSD and no other resolution is indicated, so probably they were recorded at CD resolution in multichannel.
If I remember correctly, most of these recordings were PCM, 20-bit.
