I am surprised that so many people were impressed with the Burwen demonstration. He used ancient recordings that were terrible, and was a complete jerk throughout the demonstration process.As I recall, he didn't even play the mp3 treated and then untreated through the bobcat (it changes the mp3's in the digital realm). He didn't play any uncompressed audio at all. Not a very good demonstration. I think that what people learned is that mp3's aren't as bad as they think they are if they're processed by the bobcat, but without an A/B, who knows how they compare to uncompressed unversions?
