For this reason, Esoteric is going back to Pioneer transport? So that they could get back onto the pure dsd decoding functionality? For that we have to thank John Marks for his follow-up review, where he "had to" reveal that Esoteric players decimate SACDs to PCM before decoding. Wonder Esoteric/Teac would ever want him to review their players ever again....?
