...if Blue-Ray can contain 8 channels of 96/24 uncompressed audio on all channels, they don't need SACD, Dolby Digital, DTS, or any other.If they make the *PLAYER* SACD-compatible, then it will help get SACD potentially into the hands of more users and help raise awareness. If that is done, there is nothing wrong with having one player play both kinds of disks, e.g. current DVD machines which all also play CD's.
