I too didn't bother to correct the factual mistakes you made in your post.You don't understand the technology involved sufficient enough to make a valid assertion anyway.
PCM is mathematically perfect. Technology implementing the principle of pcm can be designed without bothering about the entire signal chain.
The ADC only have to encode the pulse as exact as possible.
The DAC only has to decode the pulse as exact as possible.
Each can be designed for the most optimum performance without considering about the other.
Only a thourouh understanding of the theory is required to be able understand that (simple) implication.DSD isn't mathematicaly perfect. It's more akin to fuzzy logic.
There nothing wrong with that as it can function very well.
The advantage is that designing an entire signal chain is far simpler.The disadvantage is that the DSD signal depends on the implemented technology. There is no 'perfecy theory' behind it to be able to predict what the exact sample value should have been.
With DSD you can get away with a lot of it's flaws as 'You won't be able to hear it anyway'.
