I have been moving furniture around in preparation for delivery of a new TV (Sony 60" SXRD). I always knew my speakers were not positioned well relative to our furniture and my wife and I rearranged things to get more optimum speaker positions. But I thought the old positions wasn't that bad. I was unprepared for the major increase in sound quality. It's like a component upgrade. Much more open sound and way more transparency.
It a little disconcerting. I've spent too much money on cables etc. for small improvements. All I really needed to to was move each speaker about a foot and a bookcase five feet.
