There is a big sonic difference between the two. Telarc Classsical SACDs are as good or better than they have ever been, meaning the most realistic in my collection. Telarc Classical takes pains insure they stay pure DSD and spend plenty of time to get the mic's in the correct positions as well as making sure the concert hall sounds it's absolute best. Plus they use SOTA equipment including high end cable for the microphones and highly modified equipment.Telarc Jazz SACDs on the other hand are usually multi-mic affairs and recorded in studio's and the are often PCM so they cannot be of the same high quality of Telarc Classical SACDs.
