You will note I'm not Teresa - but the set has excellent MCH SACD and is better than the LSO series *as* sound. Capriccio used two venues, live recordings in the home hall for the orchestra, and the studio. For me the concert hall recordings are noticeably richer than the studio recordings. Do not hesitate to buy the set if SACD is important to you, if RBCD matters equally, then consider Barshai on Brilliant Classics which has to be the Shostakovich Bargain-of-the-Century.
