Parts Connexion, through Walter Lieberman (Underwood), offers 2 levels of modification, Level 1 and Level 1+. Mine has the 1+ mods. I notice that that details of this modification are not listed on Underwood's website, but I'm sure that they would do it if asked. I have compared the stock Maverick with my unit, and suffice it to say that while the factory model is excellent value for money, Chris Johnson has worked a bit of magic.As for any read errors, I have had exactly one CD that would not play at all, and a couple of others that consistently do not read the first time. The solution there is to open the drawer, rotate the disk, and load.
