The BB OP2134 are pretty 'reasonable' - bit I am inclined to try the following:Our (Vacuum State) agent in Malaysia www.octave-electronics.com (info@octave-electronics.com) has the AD8066 SMD on mini PCBs to slot in as a replacement, straight plug-in, for dual 8 pin. A friend of mine visited Octave in Kuala Lumpur and bought a pair for his modded Marantz CD-63Mk2, and was deliriously happy. I'd give a go as it wasn't all that expensive (I was cannot give you exact $) and the air-mail should be cheap.
But better still, save up for a (our) true upgrade and not just a 'mod.'
