I seem to recall that you had used Cardas Golden Reference ICs on your SACD player, with great results. Why did you change? (I'm also using PS Audio xStream Statements and had thought about changing over to the Cardas, based on what you had posted earlier.)

I didn't change. I'm still using Cardas Golden Reference on the analog outputs of the SCD-1, which I use to listen to SACD.

I now have a Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 21 DAC, which takes the digital (red book) signal from the SCD-1; I then output the DAC's signal to my preamp via PS Audio Xstream Statements.

So I listen to CD via the PS Audio, and SACD via the Cardas. Everything sounds great.
