Re: More detail, please?

am using the Accuphase DP77 with the Mcintosh C200 two box preamp which is true balanced, I run my Analysis Plus balanced (6-meters) Silver Oval I.C.'s to the Mcintosh MC402, which I then use Analysis Plus Solo 8 speaker cable to drive the Dynaudio Confidence 5 speakers.
When I had a one meter balanced pair Of A.P. Silver Oval running from the balanced out, something seem a miss, so I pulled out the RCA cables that came with the Accuphase and hooked them up also and did a A/B between balanced and RCA.

The balanced sound thicker, and slower, rolled off highs, but not poor sounding my any means, just a darkness to the sound, the RCA quicker, more open and dynamic.

I have ordered a Set of RCA Transparent Super with MM interconnects. I will see how they work with the RCA out, I did get some feedback stating the Accuphase interconnects were very good, just a bit on the bright side, so they suggested the above I.C.'s.

That's my whole setup. I do use two PS audio high current ultimate outles for each of the front end equipment.
