To be honest I've never heard an upsampling player that convinced me upsampling was the way to go, so I'm leaving it up to Alex whether or not this is an option worth implementing although reports do indicate that it's a 'must have' and of course it's the quality/application of the upsampling that will determine the result.It's been a long wait so far and I'm desperate to finally get my hands on the player, but due to the cost of shipping trans-Atlantic it's definitely in my best interests to ensure Alex has finally exhausted his ideas in regard to improving/upgrading the Philips before packing, so in this respect thanks for offering your own player up as a guinea pig. :0)
