My Grados have been also recabled with 20 feet of Cardas.
The differences between mine and a stock pair are subtle. A bit smoother, more refined, slightly more air and space.
The Cardas cable and matching plug are of much higher build quality than stock. No comparison at all there! A worthy upgrade.
