Werner,Your TDKs are "officially" supported-mentioned in the DVRA1000 manual as one of 5 recommended brands.
I have recorded on Verbatim discs-about 50% of the time I get write error 60 messages-in which case,I go back and record again.
I received advice to format 3 times-does not help.If I keep on getting write errors on the TDK discs I will try elevating the machine to a top shelf,and if that doest not help-I will try using a fan during recording.
As I do not do "live" recording,I can live with the "occasional" mishaps.The quality of the recording is better than anything I have yet experienced in digital-by far,make that by a mile.
