That is so basic to the recording process that it has to be included in the manual.If your reference is to a specific brand, and whether or not people have had a bad experience with that brand, you should say so. But as it stands, it sounds like you haven't bothered to examine the manual to find out what type of DVD disks the recoreder uses/supports.
Forgive me for appearing churlish on this...I try to give help online all the time (and did re: the BNC issue) but I get annoyed if I think people are wasting others time in lieu of simply referencing the manual. FWIW, my close friends and family get the same response if they try the same thing. I tell them to please read the manual first, then ask. The answer "I don't like manuals" doesn't cut it with me.
