I would love an Abbey road in Hi Rez and I still adore Pepper.
To be honest, I still listen to Beatles mainly on good vinyl as the CD's feel like they lack something... might just be poor mastering. It's not that they sound bad even... some of the Capitol remasters got it better. But to now produce a good quality DVD-A, and a good sounding CD, shows that there is still hope of getting some higher resolution copies of the original albums with great sound.
We live in hope... I just take whatever I can 'till then.
I introduced my nephew to 'Eight days a week' and 'I feel fine' on my PC based system a few weeks ago, just as a taster and now he cannot get enough. He thought they sounded fresh and new, he is 14. So there is still an appreciation of their qualities.I still get a buzz even now myself,
