I thought I read a post saying the Crystal chipset couldn't transfer that 196/24 rate. Noticed Panasonic machine doesn't read DVD+R/RW only the minus, would need to get an add'l burner, to rip the origonal DVD-A disk. Perhaps this stripping of the watermark code would make the DVD-A play 196/24 trough the Benchmark machine via the coaxial.
