No matter how many different ways you try to talk around the question, anyone who offers a copyrighted work for unauthorized duplication by others and anyone who copies a copyrighted work belonging to someone else is violating the copyright laws and STEALING someone else's intellectual property. These laws are now virtually the same among all western nations. I don't remember the name of the international treaty that made them so.If YOU bought the disc or otherwise own it (eg it was given to you), YOU may copy it for YOUR own private, noncommercial use.
