ZS KEKLs post was that somehow Sony releasing Dual Discs (CD + DVD) would somehow hurt SACD. Sony's average recording is so poor that the SACD format no longer needs them and most of their recordings do not benefit from High resolution at all. I have been trying to get Sony to quit making SACDs for over 4 years as it is impossible to hear the advantage of SACD and DSD on such poor recordings. The audiophile companies now rule SACD, just as they do LPs and the audiophile companies will have to keep DVD-Audio alive as well.
Sony is not needed as they are LOW RESOLUTION.
Long live Audiophile SACDs and Audiophile DVD Audios! Death to DualDisc.
Happy listening,
Teresa
