In general, the Sony BMG DDs don't have hires, just regular DD5.1 surround. Usher has DVD-A tracks (since it was already available that way), and then some releases have stereo 96/24. Most are regular DVD PCM, which is a slight increase from Redbook, to 48/16.The Warner & Universal releases so far are more likely to have DVD-A surround. I'm listening to the Keane disc now, which does. Snow Patrol and Jamie Cullum do too - I believe all of these were released on SACD before. From Warner, I believe the Donnas did have hires and A Simple Plan doesn't. It's pretty straightforward at this point, if a hires track has been created for another media, then it's also on the DD. We'll all have to wait and see what the future holds. This is meant to be a mainstream product, not an audiophile format.
