Teresa's "logic"

here's what i've been able to piece together, from reading Teresa's posts:

Teresa liked SACDs because they sounded more "analog" than CDs.
She also bought a DVD-A player, but was disappointed that they didn't sound as good as SACDs.
Then she bought a turntable and decided LPs sounded even more "analog" than SACDs.
So she sold her SACDs to pay for more LPs.
Then she finally found what she wanted, which was a tube based SACD player, which meant she started enjoying SACDs again.
She bought a DVD player so that she can watch movies, and this prompted her to listen to DVD-As again.
The new player is not as expensive as the old DVD-A player, so she did not have as high expectations as before in terms of DVD-A. Thus DVD-As sound "okay"

Every step in the journey seems reasonable to me. Of course, I would not purge my entire collection to move to a new format, because I'm a natural hoarder, but I understand why someone like Teresa would (she has also pointed out she has very limited space in her apartment - something I can certainly empathise with!)

So, I don't know why people give her such a hard time over the whole process.
