Mr Geissman...Thank you very much for taking time to visit AA and clear up this topic on what "you said". As an artist, you must encounter this type of thing way too often. YOUR statements and words are all we/I needed here, and I will be going to AIX shortly to purchase your disc.
There are many discs out there recorded at low volumes - Flim and the BB's, Amanda McBroom to name a couple off the top of my head, and they are WONDERFUL pieces of music - even the Flim albums which came out LONG ago, but they still sound better than a lot of CD's released today. And so what if we have to turn them up a bit, that is why they invented a volume control.....
So low recordings are NOT the reference point to determine a good sounding album or not. In fact the albums that I have heard, which are recorded or finalized (or whatever the proper word is) at a louder starting point, I have found usually to be not as good.
BTW, you and others will NEVER win the arguement with the Lawyer. Remember no skid marks in the road......
