This is getting ridiculous, and not a little pathetic. Since you're not personally familiar with anyone who paid $19.94 for Stereophile you've leaped to the completely unfounded conclusion that no one anywhere can possibly be paying that price, and then worked up a lot of absurd outrage over what you're hyperbolically calling unethical business practices. Even you acknowledge that your entire argument collapses if even one person is paying $19.94. Maybe you should send JA a note and ask him to open Stereophile's subscription records to you. I have no doubt that somewhere in those 80,000 customers you'll find at least one $19.94 sale.
