Maybe so. I'm considering an upgrade to a Cliffwood or a Traveler. There's very little available on the Cliffwood out there.

I am considering an incremental change (second gen U-Turn Orbit) or a more dramatic & long term move (a Cliffwood or Traveler). About $1000 price difference, which isn't a small thing to me.
I emailed VPI a few days ago with no response, so far.

VPI was preparing for and is off to the Florida audio show, so no surprise a delay in hearing back.
The Traveler has a crazy good arm for the price, and was discontinued for a while since it wasn't cost effective. It looks like it's back in stock on their website, but I don't know for how long.

Thanks for letting me know re their situation.
The Traveler is $200 cheaper than the Cliffwood. It does not seem as "plug 'n' play" as the Cliffwood, but that is okay. Looks like a fine table.
