Anyone know online sources for used or new Classical vinyl?
Thanks.

In 2000 I purchased ~12,000 records from a Classical/Jazz/NPR radio station in Michigan. At the moment I'm trying to sell ~2,000 Jazz LPs, most of which appear to have never been played. I'm guessing that there are about 4,000 classical records that I eventually want to sell. But I'm a classical collector and I'm always finding something interesting that keeps me from doing so. However, I do have quite a few duplicates... I'm in Virginia. Send me a private message if you have any interest.
My classical/opera collection is the hardest part of my collection to replace. The thrifts and flea markets have dried up. I have to travel 100 km to a big town with ca. 10 record stores. Not one of them has a collection of classical/opera records. Nobody wants them so you have to order them online.

in the Netherlands than the US!
What's up with that?
Also many sellers on Discogs adding silly postage shipping within the EU countries.
You are right that I can't hardly find decent classical/opera records.
Probably better off trekking to the UK?

In the past two months, I have given away 200 classical records to the local record store who will probably donate most of those to a thrift. From my association with a local record store in my old hometown, classical music is the poorest seller. For that reason, precious owners seem to donate it instead of trying to sell it. On the good side, most of the donated classical records are in excellent shape with many in the NM category.

Irvington Music ( if still open)
There is, of course, eBay. It's hit or miss in terms of quality but usually cheap. I've done pretty well, but perhaps I've been lucky.
Are you looking for anything in particular?
