The packing team wrote "Fragile" all over the original boxes I saved to ship components. Their intent was good but I'd rather the boxes remained original. Plus they then put everything into large packing crates so the boxes were unseen until unpacked at my new house.
Not as bad as covering a LP jacket with tape, but I wished they simply sealed the boxes.

I didn't look beyond the first photo of the tape all over the jacket.
I bought a Sun Ra album from the demo bin at a high end dealer, only to discover there was a different record inside after I was home. But that was my fault for not checking in the store when I bought it. At least mine was the same artist.
The component boxes were all factory originals so had custom packing. It would have been difficult to put the wrong item in a given box. At least they all arrived safely without damage.
