Thanks again. I'm sorry, I'm just learning to try to repair things like this. So, by "the circuit is addressing the charge/recharge", you mean it's probably a conventional (as opposed to rechargeable) battery?
All batteries can be recharged-
And a receiver has enough voltage options to run a trickle-
You may not find a 'rechargeable CR2032'...-.
