Hi,
In restoring 2 pitted, rusted Dyna Mark 3 chassis my old football coach knew this guy that did every thing (4) pieces for 75 bucks.I've put this project off 2 years and these chassis still look mint telling me he is a fanatical sand blaster.I never met the guy but just told him these colors would work. the Bell X-1,Bruce McClaren's Can-Am car, or the Cleveland Browns helmet color for reference with no pictures. I'll call these Jim Brown's Dyna's....what do you think?....Mark Korda
Follow Ups:
I think to tie it all together, you'll be needing a pair of these -- vintage Radio Shack drivers.
all the best,

Those RS's are really ceramic magnet Jensen's.
I still have my III's as my last tube amps. Circuit designs have improved over the years but the transformers are quite good and will make a really nice project.
Cheerio!

they look like Jensen's to me, I've had several of both. Nothing in the pic looks Utah and RS was noted for the Jensen's with orange frames.
Those cones look like the ribbed Jensen's, not to be confused with anything else that's ribbed :-)

MHardy, Story exposed the story! Your woofer is really a Jensen painted over by Chuck Yeager with some left over cans of spray paint he used on the Bell X-1...Mark

Great Colour!
Happy Listening
Pretty cool project and color.
The Bell X-1 was a lot smaller than you would think. Those were some VERY brave men. Chuck Yeager - now THAT'S a man!!!
.....and now that I'm looking at it, I rather like the orange. Thinking of having mine rechromed, but powder coating may be a much better idea. Interested in your progress, as I probably won't get to mine until after the holidays.
