I saw some beautiful Lorenz LP 312 speakers in large wood cabinets for sale in my area for $750 - probably too much money, but was wondering if anyone knows anything about them - All I know is that they're German and pretty highly regarded. Some Specs would be helpful - thanks
Follow Ups:
Picked a pair up as part of a trade so let's call it $450. This was a blind deal as I knew nothing about these speakers but was able to test them and they worked. When I got them home and opened them up I found that these are 16ohm full range speakers to I was excited to hook them up to some old Sherwood (S-5500 II) tube gear. This setup provides a beautiful vintage sound. An AR tt completes the set. Older Jazz and Blues sound particularly great on this old gear and Umma summa sounded pretty damn good too. I have a lot of great gear and a killer main system but find myself listening to this system way more than I thought I ever would. I'll be keeping these speakers for a while.

The scammers never rest, Marentz, Danon, Hirsch, JVL, now Loreno. Scammer is selling them for $600. I'm going to "meet" him tomorrow, about 20 miles from his house. Guess who ain't showing?

Never heard of them but I did look them up. Very nice for a vintage full range driver. Thankfully, full range drives have improved tremendously since then. And even still they haven't gotten them to be real "full range".
Unless you have a thing for vintage full range drives - it's a lotta cash.
