of cheap resistors (and capacitors) can be ferrous and be attracted to a magnet. Especially vintage parts where there was not much concern for the quality of the leads. I don't know if a bulk metal foil resistor body per se can be magnetic.

though infinitely more than "non magnetic", proportionally, if that is what they really are.
