I was given a bunch of cans of a few different flavors of Caig Deox IT. They are likely 30-40 years old. How can I tell if they are still good
I am wondering if I should just toss these old cans and buy a new can to clean the pots and switches on my Assemblage L1 preamp.
Follow Ups:
It is an oil based product, and while they have stabilizers in there, it has a limited shelf life once opened.
Spray cans may last longer than fluid bottles, but 30-40 years, no way.
Get some fresh stuff, and realize that it needs to be cleaned off, and re-applied every few years at least.

Thanks. I will get a new can.
