From what I understand Schumann resonances are not isochronic. You are not producing Schumann resonances in your listening room with your Ipad.
You are producing 180Hz and then 200Hz and the rate of change between the two is 7.83Hz. That is not the same as producing 7.83Hz (the Schumann resonance fundamental frequency).

I am producing 7.83 Hz pure Schumann waves in the room on my iPad. The isochronic tones are pulses of some higher frequency than 7.83 Hz obviously. It's the acoustic energy of the 7.83 Hz pulses that synchronize the brain's neurons and synchronizes the right and left hemispheres too. It's analogous to electromagnetic 7.83 Hz waves that also synchronize the brain's neurons. The binaural beat type of Schumann frequency is intended for headphones, difference in frequencies is converted to 7.83 Hz by the brain, whereas isochronic tones are used for speakers or headphones. The reason Schumann frequency is good for the sound is because the brain functions like sensory perception and information processing are much improved when all neurons are synchronized.

You have two hemispheres? :)I think you'll get more effect on your neurons by beating yourself on the head with the ipad 7.83 times a second.

But that is not what the earth does. Schumann waves are at 7.83Hz fundamental, not pulsing some other (higher) frequency at that rate.
That's two different things.

I didn't say the acoustic Schumann frequency is the same as the natural Earth Schumann frequency. You're putting words in my mouth. Obviously the acoustic version is different in many ways. Try reading more closely next time. One is a mechanical wave the other is electromagnetic. One has a wavelength in miles, the other in feet. That's kind of the whole point of my OP. Hel-loo! Technically, it's not the Earth's frequency, it's the frequency of the electromagnetic wave in the atmosphere, in the trough between Earth surface and upper atmosphere. Many people believe wrongly it's the Earth's vibration. As we all know you can't change what people choose to believe. :-)

No you're not.
