I'm looking at the T-18 series tips for my HAKKO Soldring station.

What is a good and recommended tip for clean board work> I like the tip with the 30 degree bend.....
that would allow signt around te tip.

What is the good tip for assembly of a Kit Amplifier? That would be both point-to-point and board work........

I do everything, boards and p-t-p with an 1/8" spade. It's so old, though, I think it's become a Shibata.

  I have a soldering iron from the Stone Age.....
  
  An UNGER IMPERIAL.......for which a few parts are still available on IPray.....
  
  But it's hopelessly out dated. I don't think I could unscrew the TIP without destroying the element.
