The Fluke 115. I've always been a sucker for yellow. (-:
BTW, cost was actually 110.00 (plus shipping). Still a good deal.
That's what I spent now that I recall. MSS sells it for $124 which is also damn good for that. The list is in fact $150. I bought my first one at MSS and my second at TD. The first one was backordered and I received it after 3 weeks. The 2nd one from TD is also backordered and I have not received it yet. It must be a hot seller which does not surprise me given the price/features/Fluke. TD says it drop ships from their regional distributor. I'm in no hurry. Why two? I like to use the same meter when I'm instrumenting a stereo unit. I have doubles on the Amprobe too for the same reason. I usually have 4 or 5 projects going at once with my resto and mod "activities".
I'm pretty sure it has a lifetime guarantee, not that you will ever need it. I could be wrong about that because some sites say lifetime and others 3 years. I'll check the Fluke site now that I'm thinking about it.
so your post was timely. Good tools that last forever-the only way to go.
