The FI-09 has a more robust wire clamping system and can except larger gauges/more wire. I am soon going to order a FI-09 from Chris VH for a big custom PLC project that I will be doing soon. The FI-10 works fine for 10ga. or smaller wire, the FI-09 will except two 12ga. - 10ga. wires.

cdc, did you install IEC from outside or inside of the chasis? I bought one for my upc-200. It's too big so that i have to install it from outside of the chassis.
All of the ones I have installed are mounted on the outside of the chassis, looks better this way too in my opinion.A recommendation if I may, go to Osh or Ace Hardware or wherever and get a pair of brass bolts, nuts and washers for the install. If you want a silver bolt for cosmetics, use Stainless steel. Both brass and stainless steel is non-magnetic.

cool,thanks.
I end up ordering FI-10 and will install from outside as well. Home Depot and Lowes are near my place and i'll check the out the brass screw.
