I have been looking for other P/N's like OPA2604 from Burr Brown and it seems that TI is not producing certain parts anymore. I called and talked to Digikey and they don't know when or if they will ever get anymore of those parts. Also be careful with buying parts off ebay because there is a lot of counterfieting going on and some are getting burned.
I have to do a lot of component engineering on EOL parts we use in my companies electronics boards. My impression is that Burr Brown was bought by TI in 2000. After 7 years, TI has slowly made availability suck on most of the older parts. It's very common to see 6 ot 9 month lead times on older Burr Brown parts. I guess if TI makes it impossible to get, people will move on and redesign to use other parts. It's a shame since BB made some neat stuff.
