I made a set of 3 using the JR instructions. I am using 2 to flank the speakers, this provides dipersion of high frequencies which has a tendancy to reduce the slight harshness. The affect is minimal, the center one has no affect at all.

I finished them with a faux finish, kits are available in craft stores. My system is in the living room and I needed something attractive.

Thanks for the picture, nice. So if I understand, you are saying that the roomlenses do basically nothing to assist in your system?

  They open up the sound stage and reduce high frequency harshness, the affect does not jump out at you. Placement is critical. The center one in the rear does nothing in my system.
