I put in two separate lines with 'selected for quiet-ness' ELCB's back in the 1980's, and we added two extra copper coated earth posts near the meter box!
Big difference, quieter, nicer, much less EDGE. revealed OTHER mimor ertaht problems, improving erath paths with lower Z is a GOOD thing.
Gross problems? fridge and extractor fan switching? gone!
Go balanced? nah don't think I need to.
low priority anyway.

What I wanted a much better earth - put in add two more I said.
theres' now just one consisting of three, screwed together, tinned over the copper around the threads!
They probably used an auger, and it ISN'T under the house. the original was!

It came across like you put in 2 or more separate grounds.
I was researching about putting on our house a lightening protection system.
That and reading about what really is electricity certainly flies
in the face of what Audiophiles perceive it to be.
Safety is a major priority.
