Inmates,
I need a really good power distributor.
Could you pls share some of your experiences with me wrt the above
I can't try Running Springs as there is no distributor (heheh nice pun) here
So, it's the Hotbox or the Hydra
Cheers

Follow Ups:
the 6 outlet Balanced Power Technologies Pure Power Center is a good deal too... less than $400 gets you 6 Oyaide SWO-XXX plug-ins and spikes on the chassis. Lots of choices with power cords this way too.
Its similar to the standard Hot Box in that there's no filtering...
.
I needed at least 6 of 'em.
If you go with the BPT, get the $25 spikes. there's a wild twist to AC delivery that you can undertake at a later date for pretty cheap, but you have to use the factory spikes. feel free to e-mail me later on this.
Also, BPT offers for $50 the addition of ERS cloth inside...this is a bad-ass tweak. I did not have them do it, i cut up a sheet i had lying around and carefully glued it in ($20). No doubt BPT does a more thorough job, but that stuff is crazy when used near electricity (not signals though!)
last, when i added the ERS cloth, i also added a few small pieces of Black Hole Pad to the inside...its vinyl damping material sold for $7 a sheet. 1/10th of that sheet is all that's needed.
For less than $400 total i'm pretty stoked about the PPC.
I've not tried either, but do a DIY version of the Hot Box. I also have experience with several of Chris Ven Haus' designs and products to date.
FWIW, the Hot Box design is basic and proven. I use a cast aluminum box and cover with that design for analog; I'm not sure what metal Chris is using for it at this time. But the basic design and Chris' materials are excellent, so's his service and advice.
If you're not DIYing, then I don't think you can go wrong with Chris Ven Haus' Hot Box.
You have options on outlets (and plugs too?) with his product. May I suggest that you go for the best in his line that you can afford, because after experimentation I've found that the Furutech and especially the Oyaide outlets are superior to tweaked non-audio outlets hands down! Oyaide bests Furu by a significant amount. In each you have a choice of which plating; ask Chris for his advice on what might work best with your particular components and rest easy!
