I own several SWO-XXX receptacles and not one of them exhibited any of the attributes U have described at any time. A bad case of RF pollution for example, could be the cause so I would be inclined to think your issues are being induced somewhere else in your system.

Maybe U could post your system details so we can have a look-see?

My system: Plinius 9200 integeraged amp, Ayre CX-7e CDP, PS Audio UO. All cables are VH audio flavor4 terminated with Furutech male FI-11 Cu and IEC Ag.

  I forgot to mention that i replace the outlet cover by non-magnetic ss from Lowes, but i installed it at the same time i installed SWO-XXX. So, i don't think it would affect anything?

    I noticed in your reply to Alan that U had swapped in a Furutech receptacle on the PS Audio UO but have U also replaced the IEC inlet on the UO?
    
    Furutech makes several very good IEC inlets that I would suggest U give some consideration to. All it takes is one mediocre connection in your AC chain to negate most of the qualities of upstream improvements.
    
    Try this if U would please, remove the SS/non-magnetic outlet cover from the SWO-XXX and give your system a listen. I would be curious at the results.

      I have just tried without outlet cover and plastic cover. Both give me less sibilance.
      
      I guess i'll stick with the plastic cover until the unit broken in. Then i'll back the SS cover to hear if it can help.

      i haven't replace IEC yet because it's soldered i think and i've never soldered anything before. This holds me up. If it's screwed down, it may be able to do it.
      
      i also just recall that in the same day when i installed the SWO-XXX, i still left the plastic cover on until that night and I replaced it with SS cover.

        Soldering is not very hard at all once one understands what is involved with making a solid/secure connection.
