  In reply to your inquiry about Riken Carbon resistors... they have no magnetic or ferrous parts in them. They have high quality end caps and gold-plated OFC copper leads. I used them in my ARC Classic 60 and the sound is superb - warm, musical with excellent detail. Only problem is that I have heard that they are no longer being produced (what a shame)! So, I would get my hands on them ASAP. The best source for them that I have found (with the largest inventory) is www.soundconnexions.com in Canada).
