Follow Ups:
Not that they are bad people:) It's simply sports were designed to entertain a certain certain part of population
Unlike people who babble about stuff they dont like as if their opinion mattered.
We are on audio board and most of opinions don't matter to a particular set of ears.
Bread and Olympics were always a tool to entertain certain dominant demographics of population and take their focus of the things that matter. In US you can see it in the brightest light:)
"We are on audio board and most of opinions don't matter to a particular set of ears."
Ahhh, now I understand, since you dont speak English, you arent able to follow the games.
Correct, the rules are also too complicated to follow so I'm just spending half of the game's time in line for food like the rest of the crowd.
Also it's obvious that most of the ruling, political class got into higher education through sports scholarships so when they see the nail their favorite solution is to take the hammer.
I would suggest you change dealers. Your current supply is clearly causing you problems. This is an audio interest board, most folks here have no interest in your political theories, which, of course, are bullshit.
How do you know what most of the folks here think and what their interest is?
I can already sense that sport watching is raising your blood pressure and aggression levels which is common among the fanbase.
By the tone I'm also guessing your education was possible through a sports scholarship and not an academic proves. That's OK, its only America after all.
Can't afford dealers so I get my supply straight from the source, thank You!
I hope you won't feel the urge to continue the exchange because original post was an ironic joke and most folks here got it except you.
"How do you know what most of the folks here think and what their interest
is?"
I cant imagine how I would think that.
Nice! You GOT me and demonstrated your intellectual superiority for all the sports fans on 'radio road 'to see, because you took upon yourself to express their feelings. Are we done yet?
Your inability to look beyond your own prejudice is astonishing. That some radio fans are also sports fans seems beyond your comprehension. My final suggestion is that when you want to post political screeds, find another forum.
I walked with you two miles already. How many more do you need to get it?
It's not a prejudice it's an opinion and a valid one. You prove it with every post. The fact that millions of fat morons is watching 6 hours of sports daily lacking other things to do does not make it a worthwhile activity.
It's an opiate to low IQ masses to keep their tinny brains occupied with simple entertainment, release aggression and away from things that matter. It was used in moderation in the past and now it exploded into full time crowd control and money machine to drain resources from idiots and soothe the poor.
My final suggestion is if you want to talk sports look at the other forums.
Inmate central is a good place so why don't you take your own advice? Not that I care or mind. Talk sports, sex or surfing and it's fine with me.
...shows. Well, except for a few Carroll Burnett videos that I have saved, "The Operator" being the best of them.

But myself being a trigger happy moron I couldn't resist temptation after suffering innumerable sports bars because my beau is a huge I mean HUGE sports fan silly girl that she is.
I wonder if you "beau" is aware you think she is a moron.
Absolutely, but she doesn't care what some Polack thinks being a proper "all American girl". She also says that I don't deserve to live here when I call US a shithole with a few bright spots :)
I just set up High End system in her room so she can listen to her leftists propaganda on NPR station without me teasing her " Hey Obama girl! Where is my 50% of conservative, redneck content on supposedly public radio huh ?"
She paid for a big screen TV so I can only watch my favorite Russian war movies after she exhaust herself with football (comically equipped band of monkeys bumping each other over egg shaped piece of leather which cant' even roll on the grass) basketball circus and she recently picked up interest in F1 formula.
I assume you mean Polak...but wtf knows. Even a decent man can be turned into blah , blah , blahbering moron by an excess of sport watching.
Thin it with some water sire.
Well Wojciech, this "moron" has no qualms being part of that population! Will always revere dad-n-goddad takin' moi to Giants Candlestick games; including seeing Ed Halicki's no hitter! Will cherish a Jackie Robinson Dodger fan trying to convert a neophyte Giants fan into Dodger fan; whilst listening to Vin Scully on KFI in summer '65. "Those Giants will give you nuthin' but grief", moi wuz admonished! Fondly remember hangin' with late cousins outside Kezar for first N.F.C. Championship game, listening to Lon Simmons on KSFO. When Brodie threw that pic, crowd went from roar to stoned silence. Passerby asked what happened, & when informed, groused "THAT SON OF A BITCH"! Those 1981 Niners helped heal the wounds of Jonestown massacres & Moscone/Milk murders! Across the Bay, Oaktown Coliseum was home for legendary Super Bowl-n-World Series champs! Raiders, & by extension A's, will never enjoy home field advantage in Vegas! And this 21 year retired printer has enjoyed soaking in that crowd energy working River Cat (in their glory days) & Republic F.C. games! With basketball season around the corner, Sactown can't wait to "LIGHT THE BEAM" once again! When it comes to sports, wojciech, them "absolute morons" sure know how to PAR-TAY!!! ... 73s para Sactown
I am a fan - not rabid, by any stretch - of football and baseball. I'm not so ardent a fan that I can abide sitting and watching them on TV for long stretches, though. I'm almost always wanting or needing to be doing something, particularly on weekends, when most of the football games are played.
Radio, mostly AM radio, has been the great optimizer for me; allowing me to listen to the narrative while also doing chores, yardwork, even electronics projects. Baseball has always struck me as perfect for this, and I've spent many a Saturday or Sunday mowing the lawn or working in the yard while listening in.
Televised sports have gotten more complicated and expensive to view; as leagues and teams strive to 'monetize' their games, it seems one must subscribe to multiple cable or streaming services to follow even one team, let alone multiple sports and teams. Radio has usually been the one reliable source to follow games without all these complexities, especially as over the air television broadcasts have become relatively useless to view games.
All my childhood was spent listening to AM radio and sports transmissions were a big part of programming. During soccer tournaments and Olympics it was a sheer madness. Than we got our first B&W TV. I remember the day when radio had a transmission from the same soccer game we watched on TV. I couldn't believe it was the same event. On the radio there was action after action and constant drama, I went to look at TV and I had an impression that they play it in slow motion mode ;) Warm Regards, and all the best. W
