Why would I need a rhombic wire type ?? The (now unobtanium) APS 13 is going to outperform anything that is indoors not to mention other rooftop types-- It doesn't get much better than that!
http://ham-radio.com/k6sti/aps-13.htm Optimal signal can only be achieved with yagi type on a rotor elevated on the roof or tower . talking about it makes me want to do that here. Im in FM wasteland with the stations I listen to over a 100 miles away and they are non commercial/college stations with lower power so likely nothing is going to pick that up aside from the internet.
Because the 4 sides can be multiples of 98Mhz's lambda.Go to FAQ here, and read the article, at least.

possibly interesting. . I will check out the article. Although one would have to have the room to spare esp for a huge one. I like the idea of just getting an antenna out there on the roof with a rotator. Always worked great for me. Besides, none of these can pull in a low power station more than a 100 mi away. There is just not enough signal strength. The antenna has to have something to grab.
If you have enough loft space .....
You could build more than one .....
Cheap, too.
