  I would need sixteen and their quantity widget stops at 6. Not sure if I want to spend $100 each for them either.
  
  The SEDs will be good for another couple of years so perhaps the Ukrainian mess might get solved by then. Or perhaps try some JJ or Shuguangs for about $70 each.

    ARC is using the JJ 6550 I'd like to hear them. I've always liked the sound of the Russian 6550 the Sovtek has always been my preference but the Winged C are excellent as well.
    
    Having a few premature failures with Chinese tubes put me off of them unless that is the only option. I've never had an issue with Russian power tubes.
