put actual working plate voltage on the tube. Small tubes, no problem but for anything like a power tube, forget it.What I like is that my testers are all calibrated, either by me or by a professional like Daniel Nelson for my TV7s and TV10 (but he will no longer work with the TV10).
I also have a Hickok from 1927 and knew a guy that used to use one back in the 1920s to the 1940s.

a TV-7BU without a case that I had purchased in Taipei.. He brought it up to just short of a TV-7DU and found a case for me. Unfortunately, the original case stencil says TV-7DU.
