Tubes Asylum

I have a Fisher X-100C with 7868 power tubes and also have a TV-7 tester.

The TV-7B/U tester does not have a socket for the 7868 tube, so I purchased a 7868 to octal adapter. I then realized that the TV-7 tester manual does not have test data for the 7868 tube.

Being a total tube novice, could someone come up with a solution?

My RCA tube books are all packed up, but further internet searches seem - alaskahiatt 00:26:59 05/18/23 (3)
to indicate the 7868 and 7591 tubes are the same with the exception of the base and the glass envelope. So, can I use the test data for the 7591 to test the 7868? Thanks.
