It appears no one on AA used these tubes. The tube arrive tomorrow, I report the performance. I used about every 6BM8 made, except these and France made 6BM8.

I auditioned the EI 6BM8 tubes. I listened to many 6BM8 including Mullard, Matsushita, RCA, Siemens, Svetlana, etc and the Siemens is the best. These EI 6BM8 are about as good as the Siemens. There is a better chance of finding the EI 6BM8 for a good price vs the Siemens. Other 6BM8 tubes are just lacking in the treble and are a little more recessed without the glorious soundstage projecting as far into the room as the EI and Siemens.
