I have some Tung-Sol 6520 tubes to test. Doing some research shows it's a version of the 6AS7.
I'm confused by what I'm seeing on my Hickok testers charts.
The 539B wants to test it as a rectifier @ 6.3 volts. No micromho value. Read the Rectifier and Diodes OK area of the meter.
The 6000A wants to test it @ 7.5 volts, with a average new test value of 2600 on the chart.
I'm lost. This is a tube I'm not familiar with.

Hi.
Must be a mistake in the 539B testing manual.
The 6520 tube is a 6AS7 - sometimes with domino plates - that make it more desirable (like the 5998 and 2399 tubes). It is common to have testing at 7.5 Volts, especially on the KS series of testers.
And I see it as interchangeable with 6AS7.
