I have replaced all 3 rectifiers in my McIntosh mc240 and unless the filter choke is damaged and not allowing the DC current to flow through the power supply, I may be saying sayonara to the power transformer. The power supply fuse blows as a result of this. Q-Can a damaged filter choke be the part to replace?

Based on your knowledge, more than likely you installed something wrong.
Was the fusing blowing before you started your DIY quest?
Are you just replacing parts without actually troubleshooting the circuit? That's not the way to work an anything, especially not a Mac.
